longtimemrs:  thank you! It’s a very pretty ballerina pink that is either opaque or translucent depending on the light. You can see the crystal formations in it too. I think the halo stones are marcasites (sp?) – they are a lovely green-grey colour. 🙂

oh wow! I have a ring that belonged to one of my aunts- a costume jewelry piece -with a pink stone and I wondered if it might be some kind of quartz!.it is not quite as veiny /transparent as the one pictured though. It is also rather large stone and I have short fingers so I feel funny wearing it- like it takes over my hand! But it is very pretty. Does anyone  know if this is a fragile stone?

Mine isnt really out there either but I love it. Its sterling silver with a little gold ball in the middle. Its hand made, bought from a market. I wish I could remember the man’s name, he had some really lovely things

longtimemrs:  I didn’t – but I took some! 🙂 Just took these outside on a cold grey day.

majorairhead:  that’s a very pretty colour! I don’t know how soft quartz is, but I hope it’s fairly hardy because I love my new RHR so much I want to wear it all the time… It’s become my new statement piece at work.

rosecut:  LOVE. Where is it from? I am looking for some really dainty stacking RHRs, and I feel like a few of these in different colors/shapes would be perfect.
