This was my grandmothers. She had a stunning collection of jewelry and I have more locked away in a safe. But until I recieved my ering I haven’t been much for wearing real pieces.  Each of the ladies in my family have one of her tanzanite rings to wear … This is mine but it needs to be sizes to fit a finnger besides my thumb!! Lol I’d like to start wearing it!

TheGridMonster:  get it! I have had my Pandora RHR that I have worn almost every day since last June, and I love it. I’m very impressed with the quality – dainty, yet very substantial.

I picked it out for my SO to get me for my birthday, even though he usually does surprise gifts. It is my favorite color. Anyone have suggestions on rings that would stack well with it? I’ve already looked at the Pandora ones online. I’ll probably go into the mall soon to try a few on.

K.bee:  It’s very simple and understated. I’ve posted it somewhere, but can’t be bothered looking through all my posts!

It’s a modern version of a traditional Sami engagement ring (or proposal ring as they call it). The Samis are the indigenous people of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia, and I’m 1/8 or 1/4 Sami (my mum is adopted so we’re not quite sure). I’d wanted this ring before I met Fiance, and then when we were going to have a year long LDR, he pre-proposed with this ring. Mine has three small rings, and according to different sayings, the rings either represent your future children or your wealth, but I wanted three because it would symbolise my mum, brother and Fiance.

K.bee:  This is a more traditional version of the ring.

longtimemrs:  Thank you. :] The stone is actually chrysoprase. I had never heard of it before the ring, but I love the varieties of green it comes in!
