I worked in sales before and had to call a subway restaurant owner named Maboob Mabutt. I SWEAR! I even looked it up in the state secretary log for business owners and it was listed on there just like that!

Someone i know named their kid Royal….and her last name is Payne…so her name is Royal Payne.  Also, in junior high my vice principals name was George P. George.  Weird.

I have a line of cousins whose last name is Horney and they are all girls.  If you did not guess they were quite popular in high school (they are nice girls though, it would be hard to go through school with that last name.)

Ah, I love this.

I knew a Dusty Rhoades in elementary school.

One trend I see in names is when parents mix up their own names to form their child’s name. I know a Sereli (Parents SERvando and ELIzabeth), Mijanne (parents Jim (backwards) and Anne), and A.J. (parents Amber and Jimmy)… the names kinda work out normally (I think Sereli is actually a beautiful name), but it seems pretty narcissistic to me, yeah?

My little sister went to school with a girl named Kirby Crabbes….I always thought that it was a bit of an unfortunate name lol…. Its like a combo between an STD and a Vacuum sweeper.

I knew a guy who went to my high school was named Mike Hawke.

The most interesting thing about him? He was a master of cross dressing. (Not on a daily basis, just for a fundraiser thing at the school)

It sounds made up but we had an employee from India whose first name was Dikshit. No joke.

Phreakus Polikas must be one of the oddest names.  His parents were 60’s hippies.

In high school, I knew a girl named Autumn Day. In college I knew a guy named DR (it didn’t stand for anything, his legal given name is D R), and the coup de gras…
We once had a kid come through orientation named Koc Anh Man.

I have a customer at work named Richard Richardson.

My mom’s name is Rose, and her first husband was named Chris Flowers. True story that she actually tried to apply at a florist’s shop for a job… as Rose Flowers. Of course they thought she was faking her name, so she never got the job. Pffftt…
