After I get married my first and last name will be almost exactly the same as each other. I actually kind of like the idea!! My current last name is so boring :/

I had a boss whose maiden name was Anita Nau (pronounced NOW), and her husband’s last name was Dicker. She didn’t want to be Anita Dicker (read it out loud a few times), and DEFINITELY didn’t want to be Anita Dicker-Nau. So she kept her maiden name.

The guy who lives 2 doors up from us, his father is Wayne Kerr. There is a local man here named Tommy Tomlin. My Mum used to work for a man named Carmichael (they called him Mike for short) Hunt. Oh and I’ve heard of several girls named Candida…. People seriously need to start googling names before they select them! CANDIDA IS THRUSH!!!!!!

My mom’s friends married name is Holly Wood. Seriously.
ETA: Also, my middle school science teacher’s married name was Harriet Ball. Unfortunate.

I worked at a dental office and would laugh to myself everytime I saw “Marsha Mellow’s” chart. I mean c’mon …why do parents do this to their children? Couldn’t the parents of American Idol winner Phillip Phillips be a bit more creative? or the parents of Willy Williams, Robert Roberts, Ryan Ryan and Donald Donaldson too.
When one of my best friends was pregnant with her son and thinking of boy names I jokingly made some suggestions. Their last name was King so naturally my weird sence of humor came up with:
Pugh (pronounced Pew)
She didn’t like any of my name suggestions (obviously) and they ended up naming him after her husband. Oh well, I tried.

Forrest Burner. Seriously! Pretty bad. His parents should have thought this through…or they have a peculiar sense of humor.

I have had the misfortune of growing up wih a cartoon charaters first and last name. “Is that really your name?” people ask? They’ll make some stupid refference to the show, like they’re the first ne to put it together… So I will be changing my last name to my SO’s vowel heavy japanese last name. People are gonna think that I’m a cute litle japanese girl bfore they meet me, and they’ll get a 5″9 blonde instead…lol.
