@ChantelleyLace I remember Dick Assman. He was on Letterman.

My mom met a guy in Montreal named Joe Fuch (yes, pronounced like “f*ck.)

I know a girl named Anita Laye. That’s her maiden name…her parents named her that.

A good friend of mine was engaged to a guy whose last name totally rhymed with her first name!  It was totally Julia Goolia-ish.  Luckily they broke up and she married a man with a MUCH nicer last name.

I’m alright with my new name.  My old initials were ABC, which was a lot cooler than ABZ, but oh well.

I work in the medical field so I’d get in big trouble for saying names, but some of our patients have the funniest names.  One man’s first and last name together is a euphemism for oral sex.  I almost died laughing when I saw it.

I once got an email from someone named Eroica Drugg. Thought it was spam and deleted it immediately. Turns out it was a legit work email from a real person Embarassed

My last name is now the same as a family in a popular sitcom from the 80’s/early 90’s. Not as bad as a lot of things you guys have heard… but still it gets annoying when people say things.

Oh and I once met someone whose last name was Head-Dick. Now why would you hyphenate that??? At least she didn’t do them in the reverse order.

Haha this is making me laugh so hard. I had a lunch lady in elementary school with a rather large bottom side named Mrs. Heine (prounounced Hiney) Poor woman.

And… a married family friend named Melody Musick.

One of my friends works at a hospital and a lady came and she said her name was “female” and proceded to tell the story of where her name came from. When her mom had her she didnt know what to name her, looked on her daughters wrist band and saw the word female so she said she wanted to name her “female” but sounded out like temale(like a hot temale) but with a F. haha

A local policeman was recognized recently for a heroic act, and I was just reading about it in the paper.  His name?  Uppsen Downes.

I had a student in Japan, a pretty middle school girl, named Fukumi.  It’s okay because in Japanese, they don’t accent syllables, so her name is pronounced foo-koo-mee.  One of the other English teachers wanted them to practice saying their names in English style with accents.  Most of the kids were okay, but then I walked past Fukumi, who was saying, “Hello.  My name is FOOK-mee.  Nice to meet you.”

I dropped everything and impressed upon her that she really needs to stress that second syllable: foo-KOO-mee.

Went to high school with a Chris Chin.  Not Christopher, just Chris.

Also, the doorman at my grandma’s building is Stuart Stewart.  That’s just mean.

My ex and I used to be Chris and Christa.  So glad that didn’t last!
