I love the necklace! And I love the idea of having a bold piece of jewelry with a simple dress.  I would say that you should either do just the birdcage veil with no clip or fascinator, or nothing at all.  Anything more is going to look cluttered and take away from the pop of the necklace, in my opinion.  Show us a pic when you get the entire look together!

I think the birdcage veil will still work, but I’d keep it simple (I voted no clip.) I love your concept!

I love the 1st dress the best and I think the idea of a birdcage sounds too sweet! The necklace is really cool and I think with the bold necklace, simple is better with everything else since it’s such a big statement. I voted nothing on the veil. I think it’ll be great!

The first dress has pockets!!! That’s so awesome…Like the rest I say go with the birdcage veil but keep the hair accessories simple. Otherwise it’ll take away from the funky necklace that is oh so awesome and look cluttered.

I agree – keep your head accessories simple if you want to do a chunky necklace 🙂

I’d hold off on buying any accessories unti you find your dress, At least keep any receipts. A lot of people end up getting something different than we expect! I know I surprised myself haha

Get the dress, then plan around that. – love the sweetheart necklines!! Super flattering and feminine!

I voted to wear nothing in your hair. I love the dresses and necklace and think a simple updo would look best. Keep us posted as to what dress you choose!

Dana – If you’re set on wearing something in your hair – I would wear the hairpiece / veil thing without the statement necklace. But you could get a really bangin cuff to wear on your arm that would make the same kind of impact, but not look too busy or forced.

Personally I love both dresses, but love the 2nd more. I’d wear a big necklace and have intricate hair, no other jewelry except maybe some diamond studs in my ear, and maybe a right hand ring. Clean make up.

ETA – intricate hair with maybe some braids or something, but not FUSSY hair. thinking cameron diaz updo mess vs something princessy

i love the necklace and the shoe idea – very cool. i voted for birdcage veil and no fascinator. i like the look of birdcage veils and i think it fits well with the funky vibe of the necklace. my fashion mantra (if i have one..) is if you’re doing something big, you should tone down other things so the one big thing stands out more.
