I work in development for a non-profit organization that does cancer treatment and research.  I like to say, we raise money to kick cancer’s ass! 😉

What a diverse and talented group we have here! I’m a grad student in English, planning to go into secondary education when I’m finished up. 🙂

I just graduated with a masters degree in astrophysics.  I met my fiancé in grad school! We live in Chile (South America) and work for AURA – the Associated Universities for Research in Astronomy.  He’s a postdoc at the NSF-run observatory here, and I’m a data analyst (read: programmer) for the international-run observatory.

I didn’t realize there were other peeps planning their wedding from crazy non-1st-world countries!!

@awhalley: I totally sympathize the long-distance planning.  I’d be happy to chat with you about all things expat, wedding, etc!

I was an elementary school teacher. Still consider myself an educator, but my official title is prevention specialist. Part counselor, part teacher. I love it!

I’m an Esthetician- specializing in Brazilian Waxing!  I love my job, I work for myself, and I get to do different things everyday! I get to do makeup, waxing, and facials!  I love that it’s such a stress free job (I was originally in finance for 8 years)

It’s just so nice to be able to look forward to going into work:)
