My ring is absolutely perfect in my eyes, but alot of people might think it’s imperfect because it’s set in yellow gold, not the white metal norm of late.  Also, it’s not as “glitzy” as many of the rings out there today…there is no pave or channel set diamonds along the shank, it’s just a simple, solitare diamond, but not set in the usual prong setting, it’s a round stone set in fishtail prongs which gives her a squarer shape.  The main thing though, is probably the fact that the stone itself is an “M” in color.  Most people, I think, tend to lean towards diamonds lower on the color scale [E, F, G..], but I knew I wanted a warmer stone from the get-go. I had to talk my FI into her, but she’s sooooo pretty to me πŸ™‚ !  She faces up so white sometimes, but then flashes the most amazing rainbow of colors…I just love her to pieces – almost as much as I love him  !

pegluv79:  It’s yellow, but the lighting in that shot was a little off, hence the array of colors she was throwing πŸ™‚ !  I could just look at these lovely, shiny baubles all day long.  Do you have any other angle shots of your ring?  I love the clean lines of the center stone against the round side stones.

pegluv79:  OH, I LOVE IT!  Your Fiance did SUCH a great job πŸ™‚ !  It’s sooooo pretty, I would’ve never thought to put an emerald cut into a setting like that, but it’s just beautiful – and sentimental too, how could it get much better, huh :)??

AylaRabbit:  thanks! If the crack bothers you that much I know some people hide inclusions under the prongs. Not sure if that would work since the inclusion is on the table. I actually couldn’t see the inclusion in the picture! I’m glad you have such a wonderful fiance πŸ™‚

MrsAtlantis:  It’s a very, very simple standard design so there’s not too many unique features he designed, but I love it none-the-less!  He had a family jewelry design it versus buying it standard out of conveinience and a great deal. It’s 2mm micropave band, cathedral, platinum, and it does have double prongs which I never knew I loved until I got my ring!

Tell me more about yours!

I know you were agreeing. Looks like there was a misunderstanding.
