<div>Hi Bees. I’ve bought all my accessories, but I just realized that I have nothing blue to wear. I’m not the type to wear blue nail polish, so I was hoping you could please share your something blue, especially if it was different from shoes or earrings (as those are bought and not blue). I know I don’t have to have something blue, but I’d like to find a way to incorporate it so I need all the inspiration I can get!</div>

I ended up finding the “I do” gemstone stickers for the bottom of my shoes in blue. Don’t have a picture of my shoes but they looked exactly like these. I bought them at joanns.

Mine were my shoes (they matched the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses!), but I have had friends do the “I do” stickers like mgbser listed above.

i am thinking about doing this my self.
You can pretty much go to any craft store and buy them. They also have them for the groom. I think they make for cute pictures.

I wore a blue garter for my something blue even though I didn’t do a garter toss.
my mom ended up surprising me with a sapphire ring my dad (who passed when I was 13) gave her for her HS graduation. saphire is my birth stone. I had no idea the ring even existed, it was a really special moment.
you could also do a blue hanky or have your seamstress sew your wedding date or a heart into your dress with blue thread. I’ve seen peoe put blue “I do” stickers on the bottom of their shoes.

Did they come off? I bought shoes that I can wear again, but not if they have wedding stickers on them permanently!

- Wedding: September 2014 - Sunset Hills Country Club
My blue was my shoes, but I also had blue in my old which was my great-grandmother’s hankie that she made.

My garter had blue ribbons sewn on it.

I’m hopefully wearing a light blue wedding dress because I look washed out in white (go Irish and Dutch genes!). But for my something blue I have some of my paternal grandpas old plaid shirts and I plan on sewing a patch of it into my dress lining to feel closer to him. I plan on getting an old blue shirt of my maternal grandmother’s too, so that I can have them both close to me day of.

- Wedding: Disneyland - January 2016
I haven’t decided yet, but I’m strongly leaning toward getting these really small blue hair accessories-they’re made of little crystals (or you know, something that looks like crystals) and shaped to look like little Mickey Mouse house and they just sort of ‘screw’ into your hair. They won’t be obtrusove since I want other crystals in my hair as well, and since we’re having our wedding at Disney they’ll serve as my Hidden Mickey! Perhaps some blue crystals (not Mickey shaped haha ) would be to your taste. 🙂

My somethings blue – my ering, earrings, shoes….and our wedding colors! Lol.
You could do a garter, stickers on your shoes, something with blue in your hair? Ribbon around your bouquet?
Have your wedding date embroidered onto the underhem of your dress in blue?
A blue shoe clip?

I have my mother’s garter to wear despite no garter toss. It has a beautiful blue feather affixed and is just generally lovely.

Yeah- they could definitely be pulled off after. I liked it because it wasn’t overly noticable, but still something blue.

I’ve got a lot of “something blues.” Mine include: beading on my gown, scarf, blue topaz and moonstone earrings, aquarmine stud earrings, Badley Mischka “hannah” shoes in glacier, I do Ugg boots with the blue sole, aquamarine hair peice, blue topaz and moonstone bracelet, and a blue topaz ring that will be my “something borrowed” from my Future Mother-In-Law. I’ve got a lot of blue, but that’s what I like. If you want subtle you could easily have a small blue ribbon sewn into the inside of your garter, find a pair of bridal undies with “mrs” embroidered in blue, even a small blue stone on each big toe when you get your pedicure. There’s tons of options!
