Sucks but knowing that they are in the center of post media now a days, it was bound to happen.

I didnt take it as a complete shock.

I think it’s sad and sick that papparazzi will go that far and violate their privacy like that. I would sue too. Maybe it’ll teach papparazzi a lesson in the future?

I have not heard of this yet but then again I don’t watch TV. I used to live in the middle of nowhere (literally) and always tanned in the nude. It is a totally freeing and natural feeling. Now that we moved to where there are neighbors. I have to wear clothes and I HATE it!

She has my sympathies, that’s for sure.  Compared to things like the global economy, this is a non-issue IMO.

I think it’s a complete and unacceptable invasion of privacy.

Why people need to even talk about this is beyond me.

What scandal?

A paparazzo took hideously fuzzy pictures of a “celebrity” and sold them to a newspaper.

No one is chastising her for it. They disapprove of the paparazzo and the magazine who bought the photos, but that’s nothing new!

I mean, I would never sunbathe topless. I think its weird to do it, even “in private’ because people can technically still see you. but, I realy dont care that she did it. nor do I really understand the situation on whether she was really in a private area where anyone could see her or not. If she was at a beach or around anyone else but her husabnd, than I would be shocked. I dont think she did anything wrong. but, I wouldnt do it…

@MrsRuby:  +1!!!!!!!

It is very common in Europe to sun bathe topless. It’s so sad that just because she is famous she is subjected to having not only her photo taken, but PUBLISHED doing something everyone else does. I guess it’s not all tiaras and diamonds when it comes to being a real Princess.

I think it’s terrible.  She was on a private estate, and should not have had to worry about protecting her modesty in such a setting.  As someone else said, it was a complete and total invasion of privacy.

@julies1949:  you’re free to not comment on a topic that you don’t care about 🙂

I think it’s ridiculous how much the UK press is allowed to get away with. Kate seems to a be a decent enough person and I certainly don’t envy the fact that until the day she dies, she can never truly have privacy again.

@hisgoosiegirl:  The British press haven’t published the pictures; a French magazine owned by Silvio Burlusconi has.

Hadn’t even heard about it lol

I’m assuming there are laws about taking topless pictures of people on private property without their knowledge, so hopefully the photographer will be punished. Doesn’t sound like anyone learned a lesson after Princess Diana, which is sad.

@hisgoosiegirl:  I didn’t say I didn’t care about it. As a matter of fact I care passionately  about those who are the victims of gossip.

I made a comment that I do not understand why people feel a need to comment on something like this. It only further spreads the gossip. I am quite sure that many people participating in spreading this story would be most upset if they were the victim.
