I was going to get platinum to match my e-ring.  He liked the darker color of tungstun.  Trying to matched our bands never crossed our minds.

My rings are white gold but it was my FI’s choice on what he wanted. He just so happened like white gold. He initially wanted platinum but didn’t care for the weight of it.

Not at all. I think it should be what he likes and doesn’t have to match yours! I never even thought about them ever matching lol

I really wanted our bands to match & since I planned to wear my band stacked with my e-ring, it needed to match it too. Pretty much, my white gold e-ring dictated the whole thing.

I think it’s funny because SO was under the assumption that they HAD to match. “I guess I should be looking for platinum bands I guess…” No silly! Get what you like!

We didn’t think about matching at all, but I think for both of us it was just assumed that we’d both have white gold. He didn’t pick his out. He actually got his after the wedding, and didn’t even care about it, he just wanted something to wear. So I went to a local jewelry store and picked something up.

Wasn’t even a factor for us! Darling Husband was so picky anyway, I think it would have been impossible to match.

We just wanted matching bands, and although it won’t exactly match my e-ring (white gold e-ring, tunsten band) I don’t care *shrugs* it wasn’t important either way but it’s what we ended up liking.

Definitely didn’t even think about it when looking for wedding bands. I got white gold to match my e-ring and he got tungsten for the price/durability.

I wanted white gold for my set and that’s what I got.

Darling Husband doesn’t have his wedding band yet, so in the meantime he is wearing his late father’s wedding band. He likes yellow gold though, so I have a feeling he will end up getting a yellow gold band of his own. I don’t care what he chooses, as long as he loves it and it’s comfortable on him.

Fiance thinks mens bands can only be a plain white gold band. I mean he recognizes that it can be another metal or have stones in it ect. but the only thing he will consider for himself is a plain white gold band. So thats what he is getting. Fortunately I also have a 14k white gold ering so they will match. I would never force him to choose based on that, but I’m glad he picked something that will look good next to mine in a ring photo even if it is silly.

I want mine in silver, which I know is soft but I’m just more comfortable in it. I think it would be nice if he chose a white metal so they’ll be similar looking but whatever he will wear everyday for the rest or our lives should be what he wants so I don’t really mind if he wants another colour metal. I am pretty set on our engravings matching though.
