We put the tree up the other day, and were looking at it and thinking that it needed something else as filler. We had enough ornaments, but there were still huge unnerving gaps staring back at us, soo…. we used the white bows that had been on the end of each pew and added them to the tree!
It looks beautiful, and it’s an awesome way to decorate our first ‘married’ tree 🙂 It makes it more special, plus the bows didn’t go to waste after the wedding (They were ‘spensive)

This is a really great idea! We all spend so much money on wedding decor, and most of it never gets used again, or is sold.
Congrats on your first married tree, that’s so sweet!

Our cake toppers were actually from the 2009 Hallmark ornament collection and I just hung them on the tree last night.
I love your bow idea!
