I got married in 2010 and had instant dress regret. I kept with my dress though and I felt beautiful on the day but looking back I wished I would of picked something different.
I wore the Sottero-Midgley JSM1003:
Now, I think I would go with something like Willow by Jenny Packham:
or Amy Michelson’s Grace:

Ooh fun! My dress:
Pretty sure if I had a chance to do it all over again, I’d want to do tulle. Or lace! Or both! 😀

Oh my gosh, that Jenny Packham is amazingly beautiful!

I married in 2009 and had dress regret as soon as my dress came in. I LOVE the way the bodice sparkles on my wedding video; it looks amazing. However, I do not like the way my dress looks in still photography, and, long story short, I had to end up choosing whether I would wear a corset bra that would have given me way too much cleavage (NOT an option) or wearing a regular strapless bra that would prevent this but result in wrinkles and creases in the bodice of my dress below the bust.
In hindsight, I really wish I would have gone to more bridal salons. I made the mistake of assuming that I knew what was “out there,” because I had been engaged many years before and had tried on a lot of dresses at that time. However, SO much had changed over the years that I really did not know what my options were, despite the large number of bridal magazines I searched.
Here are some photos of my dress. I’m not sure what I would choose now. I’ll have to think about that. Perhaps I will come back onto the thread to post a picture of that later.
