I agree – everything looks so BLAND on the rake thin models..

Everyone looks amazing. It takes a happy girl to make a dress sing

This is the model and then my first time trying it on. I ordered it in light champange though and my hair will be up. Can’t wait to see what it finally looks like once it comes in and gets fitted!

I love this so much! So amazing to see how the dresses really coem to life when the brides are wearing them, as opposed to the model! It really makes such a difference, there is so much more personality and life when the Brides are wearing them!

This is the stock picture and then my first time trying it on. Based off the model picture, I never in a million years would have even considered this dress! But once it was on, well they had trouble getting me out of it!!! <3

It’s not my dress, but a dress from Rosa Clara I tried on. When I later went to search this dress on their page I didn’t even recognize it at first. II was so shocked about how different it looks on the model. To me it looks so boring on her, while I felt it was quite sexy for its V neckline.

elderbee :  Oh my goodness! That is so kind of you but i DO NOT have a nicely defined waist! The picture angle and the dress make it look so! I deifnitely have a tummy (I think my measurements around the waist are something like 35″)

But you definitely have made me feel good about myself! So thank you!!

Mine is #6507 by Lillian West, and I initially DIDN’T like it on the hanger lol! It looked like it was too fitted for me (dead set on A-line), but I just loved the venice lace, and tried it on. When I did, BAM!, it was love at first try and I didn’t want to take it off!

Still dislike it on the model!
