I haven’t bought my wedding dress yet but I been shopping around. Here some that I love but they are completely different styles.
Do you have two dresses, I mean one for the reception and one for the ceremony?
Please share with me your experiences on what to look out for and a pic of your wedding dress!

What is the whole “feel” of your wedding? I think that is what I fell in love with on mine. It had the exact feeling I was looking for in my wedding (traditional, soft, pretty.) I tried on some very elegant, princess dresses but they just weren’t me or my wedding.
I did still have some doubts on mine after though. You really just have to stop looking once you find one cause there are tons of beautiful dresses out there that are all designed to make you look great. You really just have to go buy how you feel.
Here is mine:

I wanted something without any sparkles, but in the end I went for something much more ornate than I would have thought. I’m showing a pic of the one I got (with the fancy back) vs. the type I was looking at in the first place.

i didn’t really do that much research, but the one style that i liked was the mermaid/a-line.
lo and behold, that’s what i walked out with. it was the first dress i’d tried on (i tried more on afterward and went with the first :))
these pics are on a gazillion other posts, so bear with me bees if u’ve already seen them!

I know its a cliche, but you just know. My dress is nothing that I was searching for. I sat down with the consultant and explained to her what I wanted, ballgown/ all beads. And then I saw this dress hanging up in the dressing room area and I was just facinated by it. I needed to try it on and then I didn’t want to take it off. I actually don’t have any pictures on this computer, but I think if you just go in with an open mind and as long as you have the feel for your wedding you will be fine. Good luck and enjoy it.

I originally bought the Selia Yang Natalie which I second guessed for the last 6 months! As of Friday, I have a new dress. Here she is (with some tweaks: strapless, ivory sash instead of tan and the top will not be see thru). Meet Monique Lhuillier’s Edie…

Mine was my mom’s, so I can’t say I know the designer.

Here’s my dress! It’s a Marisa dress that we changed up a bit (replaced beading with lace). All that’s left to be done with it is adding the crinoline in at the bottom!
