Oh yes, you could say mine is different from what I had pictured. 😉
Here’s my original dress, that finally arrived from AA in late May and that I still cannot find anyone to buy, even though it is new with tags, never altered, etc. UGH!

I just bought the Watters Austin, and if you haven’t tried it on, I can promise you it feels like a dream. I tried on 20 dresses or so, and this one made me feel like I was walking in a cloud. It’s fantastic.

I definitely ended up with a different looking dress than I liked in pictures. I was trying on princess and mermaid dresses, and I ended up with a sheath style. Since I’m only 5′ 0″, I felt like I was drowning in the princess, and the mermaid made me look short. My dress especially with the vertical beading was slimming and made me look taller. I love it. I knew it was my dress the moment I tried it on; it fit like a glove. Unfortunately, they didn’t let me take pics in the store. =(

Here’s mine. Sometimes I wish I’d bought something different, something lighter and lace. But other times I really love it.

Everyone’s dresses are so beautiful! I just got mine in and I love it… it’s the Junko Yoshioka Verde gown! I was in alterations when the pics were taken so the dress is full of pins.

I saw the dress hanging in a bag. At first I thought what a strange fabric for a dress. But, I couldn’t stop thinking about it for a week so I went back to the dress shop and tried it on. My mom says the smile on my face said it all.
