The tile is pretty self-explanatory.
What made you choose the dress that you will be wearing on your wedding day? What made it stand out from all the others that you tried on? Was it the only one that you tried? Name ONE feature that YOU think is unique about your dress.
As usual, please feel free to share photos of your beautiful gowns.

It was the lace and pearl details, capped sleeves, the illusion neckline and the gorgeous back-buttons. I’ve tried MANY lace gowns; I am not a fan of strapless dresses for myself. (I have an innate fear of wardrobe malfunction, knowing myself)
Unique feature? Tea-length. It will allow me to do the ridiculous “pop foot” when I kiss my FH during the ceremony.

Circe: I chose my dress because the assistant pulled it out for me. Haha.
its unique because I am yet to find another bride with it!

because it is a Vera wang, because this is still the prettiest mermaid I have ever seen!

because it’s so different – bias cut, raw edge, crinkle chiffon, and it’s vera wang (WHITE), and it’s just a little offbeat like me.

I wore a discontinued Alfred Angelo on my day. I choose it because it was so different from everything else I tried on. It was so simple compared to what I originally looked at. I have not seen a single other bride with this dress, which kinda makes it unique
Plus I love the detail on the back of the dress. i love the double bow and how the button detail covers up the zipper

Here is my Marys Bridal Karelina Sposa dress! I went into the dress store looking for a mermaid with no fluff. After trying on a few mermaids and realizing I couldn’t walk in them the consultant showed me this dress. I was skeptical at first but when I put it on it was perfect! The roushing, flower details and of course the single strap! My husband LOVES it when I wear single strap tops so I knew he’d love the dress! Plus, I felt this dress fit my Modern Country Spring theme perfectly!

Thia was my dream dress I saw online. My fiancé and I met two stepping and I needed something I could dance in. I LOVE tulle and it’s perfect because it’s not heavy. I love that my dress has “textured” tulle and it isn’t all one length!

The picture pretty much says it all! I didn’t bother trying on anything because I knew what style and colour I wanted.

@Miss Circe: When they first put it on me I said “HELL NO!” because it was super big (size 12) and I was just drowing in it! Then after they began to tighten it and pull in on my body the idea of it being “THE” dress seemed less crazy. I love how the straps are lighter and fade into the bust and how the lace fades down by each layer of fabric. It just feels like me 🙂 only problem is that is is a low front AND back so keeping my bust under control is going to be a hard chore lol

@Miss Circe: The first one I tried, ordered it online, it was affordable and it fit. Only had to hem and that was free.

I love my dress so much. The original design is Silaba by Pronovias, but I am having a custom replica made by an AMAZING dressmaker. This magician of fabric made my sweet 16 dress, my sister’s sweet 16 dress and the wedding gown of a close family friend.
What do I love about my dress the most? Well, my dress was the 5th dress I tried on. Found at the 2nd salon, on the 1st day outting. I tried on a few other dresses but just kept coming back to Silaba.
What do I love most about it. I love the shape of the dress and the scalopping up top. That’s if I had to pick only one thing I wanted.
ETA: ok I know which part I like best! I love the detailing on the empire waist

Mine is unique since it was made specifically for a fashion show. It’s currently being altered though, getting the neckline changed to sweetheart, taken in and the back lowered a bit 🙂

It’s pink, it will be being made pinker, it’s loud, it’s a prom dress.
I chose it because it was the right price, fit my personality and is just generally dope as hell.
