Oh god I could be here all day lol…

  • garter/bouquet toss…it’s outdated
  • when the attire doesn’t match the reception venue. I know someone who totally cheap-ed out on her wedding, yet the groom wore a tux, and she wore a beautiful lace gown. Meanwhile there was barely anything to eat and guests were sitting in plastic lawn chairs.
  • when brides have no consideration for their bridal party. Yes, you are the bride, but these people are spending their money and time on your special day. They aren’t your slaves! In the same wedding mentioned above, the bridesmaids had no way to get from the hotel to the reception in the middle of NOWHERE. The bride’s response? “Can you call a cab?”
  • long ceremonies
  • when the bride chooses to do pictures beforehand (which is fine) but by the time she walks down the aisle, her makeup and hair look like a mess from taking 8 hours of photos all day long
  • when a couple doesn’t add any personal touches! I went to a wedding of a friend recently and when they made an entrance, they were dressed as Hulk Hogan and they played wrestling music. I admit, I didn’t really understand it, but it was so cute and personal nonetheless.

I dislike when these thing happen/don’t happen during weddings –

  • Chicken dance
  • Plastic cups – NO RED SOLO CUPS!
  • Overbearing family members trying to control all the speaches.

As stated before I love the garter and bouquet toss. I even love it when the guy goes up the girls dress. so sue me. I also love cake smashing

@MrsNeutrino:  A lot of time people say “Do you take this person..blah” and that’s why the bride and groom reply with “I do”.

I hate watching the groom shove cake in the bride’s face.  I know how much money and time went into the makeup for that day and it makes me grit my teeth every time!

Garter toss, cake smash, tip jars (that’s usually on the caterer), overly long and/or drunken speeches, and obnoxious DJs.
