Hello bees 🙂
I’ve been engaged almost for two years now and finally i’m in search for a venue! I know that getting married in NJ is…EXPENSIVE! I am also a little lost as to where I should start this long/fun search. If you all don’t mind sharing your beautiful venues from NJ, I would really love to see it and get a feel for what is out there in NJ. From online searches I get the typical “gallery” pics and the real wedding pics but I would love to see more! thank you!!!

tobelee0627: We had our wedding at TPC Jasna Polana in Princeton. The web site for wedding info is http://www.tpc.com/jasnapolana-weddings-events-photos
The evening events are quite costly but the brunch receptions are reasonable. And the photo ops are hard to beat!

I got married at The Estate at Florentine Gardens in River Vale, NJ and we absolutely loved it there! Everyone is awesome to work with so it made wedding planning easier for me. Our top priorities for selecting the venue was having an pretty outdoor ceremony, good food and of course good open bar. And we got all 3 from this venue, especially the food and open bar. In fact we had guests tell us that out of all the weddings they’ve been to, our food was the best. We also have friends who love their drinks so we made sure we had top shelf served. Everyone had a great time! There are so many places where you can take gorgeous pictures outside as well. Aside for their main gazebo where the ceremony is held, there’s another gazebo that’s just as beautiful. During cocktail hr, guests can stay indoors or sit outside on the patio.
here are a few pics from my wedding:

I am getting married at the Ryland Inn in Whitehouse Station. It’s a great venue for our winter wedding, with a modern rustic feel and just really pretty all around.

We are getting married at the Glenburn Estate in Riverdale. A little-known gem, it includes exclusive weekend access to the 1816 farmhouse, a barn, a pavilion, and about 6 acres of lawn to set up a tent/whatever you want.
They’ve only been doing weddings for a year and it’s CHEAP for the weekend rental.
