If I get stressed out AT work, then I just do something that involves walking away, like making a delivery to another department, depositing checks, etc. (I work at a medical school)

If I get stressed out ABOUT work, Fi and I talk about it at dinner, and then we’ll watch a movie or TV. Usually, just venting to someone and then doing something mindless will do it.  If I’m overwhelmed by too much going on at work, I make a list of everything I need to do.

Usually I get up, walk around, go down check my mailbox for interdepartment mail (which sometimes backfires because that’s how I get extra work…), stretch, listen to relaxing music on Pandora, etc.

If I am stressed at home, I try to work out, waste a little time online, and cook.  I wish we had a tub because I would totally take a bath, but sadly, we only have a shower stall…

@piglet_625: I can totally relate to wishing you had a bath tub. I used to love my baths and we just moved to a new apartment and only have a shower stall now. 🙁

At work – I usually take a short walk, have a snack or drink, try a simpler task out, or browse the internet.

At home – I used to take baths when I had a bath tub, but now I ask my Fiance for a massage, take a nap, watch a movie, have a drink, do some shopping, or go for a walk.
