2ndchance:  What a great idea!!!!  I’m surprised I didn’t think of this! Brilliant.  I think it looks great and very proportional on you! ((And you know some of us are going to go home and try this right?)) haha

Y’all are funny πŸ™‚   The ring size looks great on your hand.  On another note, good rendition of the stone!

OMG!  I looked at the pic before reading and was saying to myself, what the hell type of stone is that…lol I’m an idiot!

I did that as well by the way – I knew I wanted an emerald cut and I would draw little rectangles, 8*5.5, 7.5*6 etc all over my notepad at work to see whether I prefer narrower or wider stones and sometimes cut them out to see the size on my hand!  I’m sure my colleagues saw them and were wondering what on earth I was drawing rectangles for on my notebook!  Emerald cut was far easier to draw than a cushion with halo, good artwork there πŸ™‚

Also – have you used http://www.diamdb.com ?   That’s very useful too – you can put in the exact dimensions of a diamond you’re looking at, L*W*D, and put in your finger size and length as well as whether you’re pale skinned or dark skinned etc and it gives a very good visualisation πŸ™‚
