Oh man I FEEL your trouble!!!
My friend’s SO told me over Christmas that he’s going to propose in May. I have a class with said friend so I see her often. The other day she told me that she was pissed because her SO was hiding his financial statements and changed his password to his online banking system (he told me it was because he bought a ring). She mentioned it again yesterday. He’s so terrible at lying that he just brushes off the discussions that she tries to have about it with him.
It’s almost physically PAINFUL to hold my tongue!! I almost wish I didn’t know, but I’m sooo excited for her!
I honestly plan my conversations with her, because I’m terrible at keeping secrets. I even practiced my responses with another friend of mine! Hahaha

That sounds SO awesome!!!! Just take mental note or put everything in your phone about what it is she likes. If it sounds like it will be helpful to him, let him know.
Im sure she will be so happy to know that her best friend was part of the planning process.

@SockJunkie: OMG so exciting! I’m sitting here having just finished addressing my BFF’s bridal shower invitations (and CRYING while doing it). I totally know how you feel. Her fiance asked me to help him pick a ring and I was crying happy tears for the 2 weeks it took to get to the proposal. I can’t imagine 2 months! I basically avoided BFF while I was waiting to hear he’d done it.

this is awesome! I’m jealous! My 2 BFF’s SO’s didn’t let me in on it before the proposals. I was maid of honor in both of the weddings last year & I had no idea the proposals were coming… neither did my BFF’s! But I would have LOVED to have been involved. So, be grateful he involved you & you can tell her you had so much to do with it. It will be awesome!
