pond :  I didn’t see anyone mention pilates yet. I love Blogilates by Cassey Ho! Her main videos mix cardio and pilates to help you sculpt/tone your body. She also has a variety of stretching videos that incoporate yoga into them. Highly recommned checking it out!

Yoga With Adriene!!!  Been following her for 4+ years and her guidance has done wonders not just for my physical health, but also my emotional and spiritual well-being.  Can’t believe anyone has a complaint about her talking to much..she’s usually explaining how to really feel out a pose properly and comfortably or reminding you that you’re a beautiful badass!  The jokey moments are there to point out that working out doesn’t have to be so serious.  I super appreciate her light hearted approach, it’s a much more welcoming vibe for me than the more mechanical teachers.  Once you do enough videos, you learn the poses enough to not need to look at the screen.  She’s a revolutionary.  Really.

I second blogilates! She has a variety of shorter videos focused on one areas, and some longer full workouts, so you can mix and match or just get in something quick!

Her videos are honestly the only ones I’ve really gotten into and somewhat stuck with.

Download be.come project from Bethany Meyers! $25/mo and she is one of the absolute best (and most inclusive!) pilates instructors out there. Her voice is amazing!

Yoga with Adriene is a classic (like everyone said) but some other yoga YouTube channels I like are Five Parks Yoga with Erin Sampson, Jessica Richburg, Alo yoga, Lululemon, and Arianna Elizabeth!

Fun suggestion for pandemic times: Ask a few of your girlfriends if they want to join you for yoga sessions over Zoom/Skype! Just pick a 20 minute yoga video, share your screen, and mute your mics – doing it with friends can be so motivating! At the beginning of the pandemic, an acquaintance of mine invited me to join her virtual yoga sessions with her sister, and I brought two other friends into our group. We ended up all becoming much closer (and healthier!) doing yoga together weekly for most of this year! It’s been a meaningful way to stay fit and connected during a difficult time.
