OH.M.G… I’d be SO pissed! Pity you didn’t number them! I’d post it to FB and tag everybody who you HAVEN’T heard from yet.. But, I’m devious like that.

Ugh…this happened to me last night. I figured I would get at least a few write in guests based on other stories on this board, but I was not prepared for the absolute rage I felt when my fiancé’s aunt and uncle wrote in their son AND his girlfriend on their RSVP card..neither of whom I’ve met. I’ll probably have to let the son slide, but I’m seriously considering nixing his gf. WTF? So rude! I feel your pain, OP. I want to send them a blank RSVP card with a note saying “TRY AGAIN!” or a bill to two extra plates of food 🙁

As a side note, a friend of mine got married in June and most of the uninvited written in guests didn’t even show up…which is still annoying because you have to pay for the food ahead of time.

This is why when it is my turn I will opt for buffet, then if anyone unexpected turns up they can wait at the back of the queue and see if they get anything.   But I’m harsh like that.

@s2bmrscook:  because you have nothing else to do but become a dectective. definitely a note to future brides to number the back of the RSVPs and have a runninng list saved on the computer.

It almost makes you want to spend countless hours of your time writing out who the person/people are on the first line, and all the guests have to do is check yes or no. Would definitely save you grief after the fact.

@s2bmrscook:  Ah, my mistake.  I hope you find out who is was so you can raise an eyebrow at them.

This is SOOO RUDE!!  Who does that?!!  How many invites did you send out for 3 spots?  Maybe you can narrow it down that way so you can figure out who it is?  And then contact them to politely say that only 3 were invited- so unbelievably RUDE!!!

Ugh I am glad I numbered mine just in case! And they didn’t even put their address on the envelope?

I got one the other day that was totally blank!  I have no idea whose it was and if they are coming or not! I’ve been asking everyone who didn’t send it in and so far no one wants to own up to it!

Are you sure someone isn’t just messing with you as a practical joke?  It seems strange that someone would not only add extras, but also leave out the name.

Not going to lie, I’d be tempted to strangle someone if I got a RSVP card back like that
