@s2bmrscook:  Least it was just the RSVP date not the wedding date! I didn’t even notice, totally not an issue!

@s2bmrscook:  Yes but you are overreacting. And getting bent out of shape over something that you yourself are guilty of (making a mistake). Shouldn’t the fact that you just made a collosal mistake make you a little bit more understanding?

Your Fiance gave them the extra guest so you have nothing to be annoyed with them about. If you have a problem with the extra guest then your annoyance should be directed at your Fiance.

There is nothing here to get upset about  and vent about. Maybe you need to take a break and have a glass of wine.

Last year I got a save the date for this girl I met through mutual friends birthday trip. We got along great on the trip but I mean, we arent BFF or anything. Well, she never sent me the invitation to the wedding. Turns out she over invited and had to make cuts but didnt alert those who already received the STD. Not that I would have went to the wedding in the first place, but still, totally tacky. I casually forgot to mai her a wedding gift

Geez people. To those people pointing out the 30 days in September, really? Some people get some bizarre ego boost out of being pendatic.

An error in the invite reply creates confusion, being they put no name, and added extra guests.

The mistake of a date (off by a day) affects the overall planning of the wedding…how really?

Please forgive iPad typos.

Fiance never told you that he gave his  aunt two additional people?  It sounds that if he had, there would have been little doubt as to who left the name off the card.  Plus, you would have been spared the aggravation of thinking that someone added two extra guests without permission.  I can understand that you were frustrated that someone left their name off the care, but as you know, mistakes happen.

@MistySoda:  In our case, turns out they had a niece staying with them (she is nearly 20 but they didn’t want to leave her alone). I think 20 is plenty old to stay on your own for an afternoon/evening – but whatev. It all worked out okay, thankfully!
