Found this amazing (& oh-so-cute) recipe online, & since I’m in love with mason jars it spiked my interest that much more:
It’d make a perfect favor idea for small get-togethers!!
And also, not sure if anyone’s heard of “Muddy Buddies”, I call it Puppy Chow…but here’s the recipe for that…& I’m actually eating this right now! SO good!!
1/2 cup Peanut Butter
1/4 cup Butter
1 cup Chocolate Chips
1/2 tsp. Vanilla
9 cups Crispix cereal (any flavor)
1-1/2 cups Powdered Sugar
1. Combine peanut butter, butter and chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl.
2. Microwave for one minute then stir to blend all ingredients thoroughly. Add 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Stir well.
3. Place the 9 cups of Crispix cereal in a very large bowl.
4. Pour the peanut butter-chocolate mixture over the cereal and toss evenly, making sure all the cereal gets a good covering.
5. Coat with powdered sugar, sprinkling evenly over the cereal and tossing as you sprinkle to cover each piece well.
I bought the Rice Crispix cereal – & actually this recipe’s on the back of this cereal box…I found this out this past weekend! I also added some broken up chocolate & vanilla covered pretzels to the recipe. Delicious!!!
If you know about this recipe – you know what I’m talking about! & if not, you’ve GOT to try it!! Sooo good!

OMG, I love this stuff. One of my best friends makes it and I’m missing it this year, because she moved to the West Coast. We always call it “dog food”. Sounds weird, but tastes great!

I. Love. Puppy. Chow. I would marry this stuff, but alas, my thighs do not agree with that matter. I’ve actually never heard of adding vanilla to it. Does it make a big difference?

Puppy chow is awesome!! As some one with a Gluten allergy, its one of the only safe things I can have. Now I’m gonna have to go make some.
