(Closed) Zales Diamond Certification?

I had a diamond (just over 1 ct) platinum ring that was passed down to me a couple years ago. When my Fiance and I decided that we were ready to get engaged I decided that I wanted the diamond to be reset into a ring of my own. We searched for the perfect setting and I found one at Zales. I was so scared to let them take both my diamond plat ring and my new ering and reset the diamond! Although my diamond was already certified with a number engraved on the side I was still super scared. I looked at the number myself before it was sent off and after it had come back. I also put a tag on the plat band to ensure it was my plat band after I got it back (tag still attached). After the whole ordeal and sleepless nights I came to the realization that that is their job and they have/will deal with more expensive rings/diamonds than mine. I wouldn’t worry about them switching it out but if you are you can always have them test the diamond with their diamond tester thing to make sure it is a real diamond. Through this whole ordeal they were very understanding (even if I looked like a psycho) and my ering is exactly what I wanted!

I hope this helps!
