That is your manager, not the company as a whole.

Managers can be very dodgy trying to get their bonus, you need not have quit, you should have just gone above his head to his manager.

I wouldn’t put that on the whole company I’d say that was your dm trying not to lose a sale & being shady. That’s pretty effed up. I would have reported her not quit my job.

This makes me so happy to have gone to a jeweler that does sizing, etc in house. That way if something happened, there is less of a trail to have to follow.

I feel so bad for the man you sold the ring to. What did he say when you told him about this?

EDIT: I smell a troll. Your only posts on this site have been bashing Zales. Fishy. Please explain.

Am I the only one who thinks this “employee” may be a Zales competitor? OP’s only other post was from the POV of a Zales customer, giving a different reason entirely to “avoid Zales at all costs”.

@capitalbee:  I’m not even sure English is his/her spoken language.  There are quite a few cues that lead me to believe that this bee could be from a non-English speaking locale.

@Ccandy:  based on your heading and post on another thread, that is EXACTLY what you are saying.
