I’m a solid L and when I try on Zara stuff I stick to the L and it is true to my size elsewhere. I have never tried on a cardigan there though, so I am probably not much help. I know usually when my arms fit into a L, the M is too tight but the body is fine.

ETA: My arms are larger though. So, that might not be true for you.

Go with a large. I find Zara sizes tend to run small.

I will not step foot into another Zara because of their new anti-shoplifting practices. They now make you scan your bag and open it when entering the change room. Treating paying customers like thieves is not cool.

Sorry for the rant! haha They just drive me crazy.

@Ms. Martian:  Wow that’s insane!! I’m from Spain so Zara is on every street corner. 80% of my clothes are from Zara, and probably 80% of my friends’ closets are too, and they certainly don’t have that policy here! I’ve seen one random Zara that had a purse scan in the changing room entry, but it’s not at all normal here

@Ms. Martian:  Oh yeah!! I experienced that the other week! Definitely off-putting.

@raspberrymacaron:  When I lived in Europe I loved Zara and I couldn’t wait for it to open here. This is a pretty new policy though, I’ve only noticed in the past year. I find it so odd because they already have a security guard and the security tags. Plus, no other store has had to enforce such rules so why do they? No more Zara for me!
