dianabee:  I would think it was odd and maybe you got a really great deal if you let them put their website on the invites. I do think it;s a little crazy they put their info on the invite and it’s not any cheaper than anywhere else that doesn’t do that… I don’t think it’s tacky though…

dianabee:  I used ‘save the date’ postcards from Zazzle and they didn’t have an advertising on them? Maybe go with a double sided card rather than an opening card style, if you don’t want the advertisement there. I don’t think I’d like that either. It seems to cheapen it a little.

I custom made invites and printed at Zazzle. No advertising from them, but the quality and reliability was way spotty. Sorry, but I don’t recommend them.

Some Zazzle stores include their name or link on their templates.  The STD postcards I bought from Zazzle included the name of the designer’s store at the bottom, and the logo was also displayed on the template before I ordered.  It was matched to the colors on the rest of the invite and at the very bottom, so it was barely noticeable.  I wouldn’t really care as a guest if my invite had a small logo.  It’s an invitation which will be put on the fridge or desk, and which will be thrown out after the wedding.

Got my save-the-date cards from Zazzle and while it showed the logo online, it wasn’t on our order at all.  Of the 160 we received, we had about 4 that were not usable due to poor printing/ink runs.  Since we got them with a 1/2 off groupon, I wasn’t too upset with the error rate though… I was also pleasantly surprised that they shipped about 8 days after we ordered them.

dianabee:  I don’t know what ones you ordered, but maybe its just that specific invite….we got both our rsvp cards and our invites plus envelops from zazzle and the name zazzle is not on either of them anywhere…..that’s weird ive ordered several things from them (wedding stationary, Christmas cards, a couple phone cases, some address labels…and a few things im sure im forgetting….but no ad has ever been on any of them….I just went and checked again while typing this….and nope no sign of an ad….so maybe its just the specific ones you picked….that is weird though and unless it was somewhere obtrusive like above your information I probably wouldn’t mind….if its like a small stamp on the back that’s fine in my book thatd be like me thinking its tacky that there was a hallmark stamp on the back of a card I received….

and just to clarify what do you mean by advertisement….is it a trademark stamp or does it say by xxxxxx from zazzle…..
