Second one looks better in terms of style but zip might be better for function if you have difficulty shoving your feet into shoes.

I prefer zip. The guesset looks casual and often cheap IMO.

i work in a construction related industry and I am the only person in my office who doesn’t own Blundstones, can’t stand the look of them.

I think it depends on your personal style and like the other poster mentioned, what works best for you as far as functionality is concerned. I personally prefer the gusset style over a zipper, though it depends on what the zipper looks like.

Whatever makes the narrowest ankle . Usually zip. I don’t like a too loose a gap round the ankle.

I never thought about this before, but I find myself reaching for my zip boots more than any of my other little boots- specifically the pair with heels like your pics. They’re super comfortable.

I have another pair of zip boots with a wedge heel and I’m not a fan.
