2 weeks after our wedding and people are still gushing over how amazing our cake was! Here’s some photos that I just got from a friend. The cake was dense chocolate cake with peanut butter mousse filling, peanut butter Italian buttercream icing, and decorated with chocolate drizzle and reeses cups— so.freaking.good!
Cake was made by Corcoran Caterers (I love them; they did a fantastic job on everything!). We had friends stopping by for days looking for leftovers and still have a giant slice in the freezer, which we will probably polish off this weekend.
I want another cake now!

@fishbone: Oh my gosh! That looks and sounds amazing! (You’re making me regret having turned down a small Reese’s Peanut Butter cup earlier today, lol!)
P.S. I have to ask: what does the “z” stand for in the title of your post? I’ve seen this on WB and FB, and I obviously know what the other letters mean, but I have been wondering about the “z.” (I know, I know, my age is showing if I have to ask this! Haha.)

My mouth is watering now. I loooove Reeses and cake!

It really was delicious! But it was a nightmare to cut! We had to strategically remove enough of the reeses cups to make a slice! The caterer did a lot better— she didn’t have any problems at all slicing and serving, but for us rookies with all eyes on us, it made for a very amusing adventure!

I didn’t even have to see the actual cake just knowing it has Reese’s PB cups sold me… that cake looks awesome!!!
