if you have sensitive teeth to begin with it does get quite painful. We did it about two weeks prior to the wedding. It was my second time getting it done and then FI’s first. For him, it hurt pretty bad with random shots of pain here and there throughout the day but by the next day he was completely fine. For me, the pain continued into the second day. It was torturous. I felt like I wanted to rip my teeth out just to feel some relief. Regardless the intense pain you feel from the sensitivity, it’s definitely worth having nice, white teeth. I just know after doing it twice in 4 years, I will NOT be doing it again unless I’ve slacked so much and my teeth turned really yellow which I don’t expect to happen.

Don’t worry too much. You’ll be in pain but it only lasts for one day to two days max. After that you’re back to normal. In regard to pain meds to take so you don’t feel it as much, I think they say you just can’t take any ibuprofen because that might help stain it but only with the first 24-48 hrs. Again, not sure if this is correct info, but it’s what I recall. (We did the Zoom two months ago)

Good luck!! 🙂

It hurt a LOT for 1 night, I couldn’t sleep and over the counter stuff (advil) didn’t seem to help at all. I do have sensitive teeth, so your experience might be better…

I did it. It wasn’t that bad but it didn’t make an enormous difference to the colour of my teeth either.
